Beverley & Dan

I've had a really busy couple of weeks with more wedding bookings being taken and two engagement photo shoots. Beverley and Dan were the first couple of the week and we met early Saturday morning to try and catch some early morning sunshine. They are a great couple and I felt really at ease with them and with the sun shining we had a great portrait session. Their wedding is in October and I am really looking forward to meeting up with them on their special day.

Joshua and Friends

I snapped this of Joshua with his cuddly toy friends recently to try out my new lens. He was a great model and just lay there nice and patiently for Daddy!

Landcapes - Part 5

For the final post of the landscapes I've photographed, I have chosen this image of Aira Force waterfall, in the Lake District. Located at Ullswater, you get to the falls via a short walk up hill from the car park. The trail leads you up to the waterfall and then down the otherside and back to the car park. A perfect way to work up the appetite for that Lakes Sunday roast dinner!!!

Landscapes - Part 4

Day 4 - An aerial landscape shot from the Mina A'Salam resort at Jumairah Beach, Dubai stretching to Dubai Harbour in the distance. Note one of the towers on fire!!! Photographed from the top of the Burj Al Arab hotel at Jumairah Beach.

Landscapes - Part 3

More of a cityscape than a landscape - this picture of the liver building was taken a couple of years ago when the QE2 docked in Liverpool. As we were walking back to the car we crossed a bridge and I saw this shot and loved the reflection in the water.

Mum's Birthday

It was my Mum's Birthday earlier in the month - we had a BBQ for her to celebrate the occasion, so thought I would get a few candid shots on the day.

Landscapes - Part 2

This waterfall is located at Tresaith Beach, Ceredigion, West Wales. Tresaith is a lovely beach and is located about 7 miles from my Dad's caravan park. www.llaninacaravanpark.co.uk It is great for families, with the beach being enclosed both sides by the cliffs, great for keeping an eye on the kids!!!! The waterfall is only accessible when the tide is out and crashes down from the cliffs above into the rock pools below.

Landscapes - Part 1

I haven't posted any landscape shots on my blog yet and to be honest, I don't take that many of them - my wedding photography and portrait work seem to remain the main source of my photographic inspiration.
However, to give you all a bit more of an insight into my photography, I thought I would post a landscape image a day for the next 5 days showing some of the personal photos I have taken on my travels near and far.
Day 1 - Cocoa Palm, Bodu Hithi in the Maldives. A beautiful island and an unforgettable trip. Taken on our return to the island from a sunset cruise arriving just in time for cocktails!!!!

Angela and Chris

Angela and Chris are a great couple - we met up for an engagement portrait session a week ago and they proved to be total naturals (by Chris' own admission) in front of the camera - looking at the images I totally agree!!!! I am delighted that they have chosen me to photograph their wedding day and am really looking forward to working with such a nice, friendly and obviously in love couple. Hope you both enjoy the images and I can't wait to photograph your special day.

Joshua

The long weekend gave me the opportunity to get a few more photos of our baby boy Joshua. We had a bit of quiet time in his latest present, a motorised swing!!!!! We managed to get the swing up to level 4 of 6 and are aiming to achieve the full roller coaster level 6 by next weekend, when mummy isn't looking that is!!!!!!!

Allison and Nick

I arranged to meet up with Allison and Nick a couple of weeks ago for a pre-wedding photoshoot before I photograph their wedding in September. On the day I had the added bonus of them turning up with their little daughter Leyla. It gave us a great opportunity to spend an hour or so taking some pictures, Leyla seemed to love all the attention and didn't stop smiling all morning, she is a natural in front of the camera! Thanks for choosing me to be your wedding photographer, I am really looking forward to the big day.
